We don't know that for sure. That hasn't been confirmed anywhere that I've seen. When/if this badge unlocks and that's the image, I will make the change.

First time poster, long time lurker. I'm having the same issue: checked in to the location but no badge.

Just tried with my test account. No badge. Looks like it may be inactive already

Checked twitter and there are no unlocks of the badge after 8:30pm (unlocks still posting but if you click on the link it will show you the time that they actually unlocked the badge). Also tried several times w/ test accts to get the badge and got nothing. So the badge is being moved to retired.

I just unlocked the "Webby Nerd" badge on @foursquare!

If I were you, I'd contact foursquare support. Tell them your situation, show them the tweet that resulted from you unlocking it, and ask them what happened and why your badge is not there.

This is by far the most quickest badge to retired.Feel sorry for those who haven't unlocked it.

Yeah,In fact many missed it,sigh. Notification? you can try bookmark this page http://mattersofgrey.com/forum/discussions on your phone and check it every 2 hours or three. It works for me. I can see which thread is active at the moment and got notified for new active badges.Hope this helps.

Actually, if you have bookmarked a page and you have a real email address set up in your profile here, you will receive an email on new comments.

@lealdesanmartin "Liking" Matters of Grey and Foursquare on Facebook is also good as an extra tool for getting badge updates but this forum is one of the fastest
