    How to unlock:
    1. Checkin 5 times to the same "Ski Area”, "Ski Chairlifts", "Ski Bar", or “Ski Lodge" venue or to 3 unique "Ski Area”, "Ski Chairlifts", or “Ski Lodge" venues.
    2. To level up checkin to 5 more unique "Ski Area”, "Ski Chairlifts", "Ski Bar", or “Ski Lodge" venues (levels 2-10)
    3. If checking into the same venue only 1 checkin a day will count for this badge (only for level 1 of the badge)
    4. Previous checkins count
    5. Badge unlocks in the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE from November till May and in the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE from June till October. During their ACTIVE ski seasons.

    You would think but the other ski badges still show unlocks daily. That and i also did a test on it and couls not unlock it w/ my test acct.

    I am just suprised that this badge will not unlock anymore but 3 of the 4 ski season badges are still sctive. You would fig if they are still active this badge should be as well.

    I'm sad that this is the only greyed out badge listed under foursquare badges :( Hope it comes back in the Fall.

    There are definately unlocks on twitter today. Although I know I have checked in to multiple ski resorts getting the other "Ski Badges". I thought 1 checkin would get it for me but I was wrong. The badge was reactivated 08/31/2011, so I'm not sure how others are unlocking it if the count started over. I will keep trying though.

    yeah this is an odd one, i have a bunch of legit (mobile non-jump) check-ins at ski places and havnt been able to get the badge yet.

    you have to remember to checkin on 3 separate days to get this one and if it's newly deactivate than my guess is past checkins don't count. none the less I'm really excited bout this one.

    This badge has been reactivated since Aug 31st. There are unlocks posted like crazy on twitter. Badge is def 100% reactivated. Just follow the unlock instructions and you will get the badge.

    @rocky1960 there are several unlocks on twitter. It has only been active since 08/31/2011. Several of us are trying to unlock this badge right now. We will post when we get it. It looks like previous checkins don't count.

    Checked-in on 3 separate days on the venues categorized as "ski area" (iceberg icon) at Jakarta, Indonesia...still no luck...try again tomorrow...maybe needs more than 3 days...:)

    I changed the category of a venue, my home, in this case. it worked. i just got the badge.

    She indicated she checked in to her home but changed the category. Which means she's probably checked in there every day.

    I am waiting for few hours more to unlock this...that could be my 3rd check in on 3 different days at ski area/ lodge venues... Hope I'm lucky on this time!!! :)

    Grrrr I've tried 3 separate days and nothing then deleted checkin and changed category of my home and checked in again and nothing.

    Tried changing venues, have 3 days at a ski lodge, changed the lodge to just a ski area..... Nothing
