    Incorrect. I created a brand new venue to test this and labeled a wine bar. It unlocked upon first check-in.

    I don't think it's only 1 check-in. I think past check-ins count and it has to be different venues categorized as wine bars. Just a theory.

    I do believe it needs to be 5 diffrent wine bars. I just checked into a wine bar that i have over 40 previous checkins at and it did not unlock the badge for me.

    I just checked my history and I've only been to 2 wine bars: one I checked into in chcago for the time out badge and the one I just turned my local park into to get the badge. I'm gonna open my test account and see what she comes up with.

    i've checked in 6 different wine bars over 30 mins still no unlock..

    Unless I have bars in my history that have wine bar as a secondary catagory then I think it needs seperate days but not nesisarily different bars

    I wouldn't be surprised seeing as all Foursquare specific badges have been separate days.

    I have to agree about the seperate checkins on diffrent days. I have tried it on all my 4sqr accts and have gotten nothing. Even my main acct where i know i have alot of previous wine bar checkins but the must be too far back to count.

    5 different wine bars on a blank history and no badge...perhaps the directions should say "undertermined" until we've had a few days to test the multiple day theory?

    Are we sure it's 'wine bar' and not 'wine shop'? ...because foursquare gives points for your first checkin at a wine shop.
