Whatever the "travel time" would be is how long you have to allow when checking into the next venue. For example if you checked in here: https://foursquare.com/v/south-beach--miami-beach/4b87005ff964a520c0aa31e3 then wanted to check in here : https://foursquare.com/v/laguardia-airport-lga/4ace6c89f964a52078d020e3 .... You would goto http://www.travelmath.com/ and say get: "flight time" from "miami beach, fl" to: LGA then hit calculate... and it will tell you that it is 2hrs and 11 min of flight time. That is how long you should allow when checking in from the 1st venue to the 2nd venue.

Travel math is a good one too.... Just make sure that you get points every time you checkin. As long as you are recieving points for the checkin then it is counting towards any badges that you are trying to earn.
