4. Previous checkins count
5. Badge will only unlock and level up when checking into "Baseball Stadium" venues during the baseball season of that country.

I think it has to be major league baseball stadiums. Tried checking into our local minor league stadium and it didn't unlock, checked into Fenway and it worked.

Yeah. Local doesn't work. The unlock instructions are pretty solid...just have to be weary of that "within a month" loop hole they like to throw in there.

Alot of times they do give 60 days since that is how long they base the venue checkin count for mayorship.

After testing it myself and from the feedback from others i have come to the conclusion that as long as the main venue category is Baseball Stadium that the badge will unlock. So if you have venues with the main category of Baseball Stadium locally then you should be able to unlock it.

The badge unlock caption pretty much sums up how to unlock it:

"3 big-league stadium check-ins from 1 baseball fan who happens to have 2 thumbs? By our count, you're only a 4-bagger short of the foursquare cycle! We tried putting the badge in the Cracker Jack box. Didn't fit."

I'm very disappointed that this badge is NOT available in S.Korea and Japan which have enthusiastic baseball fans and great national pro-baseball leagues. Even Jumpers who have not their own league earned this one. What a disgrace for true baseball lovers.

How come it's not available? try and "check in" at venues categorized as baseball stadium in your country.

@AlexJunior : No can do! Only a few jumpers unlocked at MLB Stadiums. This is US only badge. :-)

i've check-in locally at 2 venues.. and the third one at a major league baseball stadium and unlocked it.. maybe it doesnt have to be all major... 1 major would qualify enough..
