Ok so let me get this straight. All the venues on the Travel Channels venue page is where Man V Food Nation has been, or no? If not, how do you know where MvF has been?

I'm listing that based on the unlock text which states,

"Hungry? You just found one of America's best pigout spots as seen on Travel Channel's Man v. Food Nation! Hope you brought your appetite!"

The only venue I've seen anyone unlock it at is the one listed above. I've tested several other that the show has been to this year and they didn't work. Not sure at the point.

I had a friend unlock the badge at this venue https://foursquare.com/venue/136399 . This wasn't on Man Vs. Food Nation but it was on an old Travel Channel show called "Food Wars". It could just be any place that the Travel Channel has been at or left a tip for.

I thought that too but I've tried SEVERAL of those venues and they haven't worked. Thanks for the new venue though! I'll add it to the list!

Did some testing. Updated the venue list with some more venues. Still working on it.. All the venues that I listed I tested and the badge will unlock at them.

You know what's funny, when this badge started unlocking, I tested a LOT of the venues JR1 is listing, and they didn't unlock. Now, several hours later, they are working. Oh well. I tried guys!

Just one of those odd things with 4sqr. They were prob still updating the venue list and it wouldnt supries me if they srill were updating the list. As of right now the venues I listed are the only ones on the Travel Chan page (man vs food listed venues) that will unlock the badge. Yes I tested them all. But I am willing to bet that the rest that did not unlock it when I tested it prob will unlock it soon.

Not that I'm aware. Man V. Food Nation has only visited U.S. places to my knowledge, therefore it's doubtful that it'll be available outside of the U.S.

As of now, 5 of the SF venues do NOT unlock the badge.
Perhaps the Walnut Creek ones do (but who wants to go there, LOL).

Is there any value to unfollowing, then refollowing a brand to try and "clear" the situation (like a reboot), or have you basically found 4Sq technology (not adding the venues accurately) is generally the problem?

@Jarrellish As I posted earlier I went through every venue listed on the Travel Chan. page that was from Man v. Food and the only ones that unlock this badge are listed on this page in my comments and under the main unlock instructions. As for why the rest do not unlock them that is a question for 4sqr and The Travel Chan. that we will prob never get an answer to.

I haven't checked that all of these unlock, but the Travel Channel has added a specific list for Man v Food that hopefully lists everywhere is the U.S. this badge can be unlocked:

I love the Man v. Food show but they haven't been out to Australia. I'll just wait to get this the next time I go visit my sister in the States.
