Did some digging and fould some info on how to unlock this badge when it becomes active as well as teh date it should become active. Updated the unlock instructions.

From Wired UK:

"If you work in a place where magic happens, O2, Wired UK, and FourSquare have teamed up to create a UK Innovation badge. We will be crowd sourcing innovation locations across the UK. If you check into one of these you will unlock the UK Innovation badge.
The badge launches at next weeks Wired 2011 Conference, with the nationwide launch happening shortly afterwards."

this badge is retired, isn't it?

Moving the badge to retired since they are showing no signs of getting more venues added that will unlock this badge even though they claim that it is still active.

I really want this badge. What is the likelihood they will add venues? I missed this badge by an HOUR when it was being unlocked. I tweeted @O2 once already asking them about it - no reply. I tweeted them again today and will continue to do so until they answer me. Is anyone else investigating this?

They have said they will be adding more venues. I got a response from them once on twitter directing me to their 4sqr page. Useless. So until they add the rest of the venues they said they were going to this badge will remain "retired".

Looks like this badge is finally getting re-released. It just started showing up grayed out in the trophy case. Should be active again soon. (HOPEFULLY)

Ok after looking more at it there is a possibility it's a 2nd O2 badge since I unlocked the 1st one and there is now a 2nd one with a slightly diffrent name showing up in the trophy case. Will look into this and see what I can find out.

I also have a second one showing in my trophy case greyed out. Yet on the mobile site badge list, only one shows up. Possibly being rereleased just with a shorter name.

Do you have a venue?

O2 has no tips and I have the first O2 badge. Can anyone post venues? I will see if this is in fact a new badge or a glitch.

I've only seen one unlock on twitter so far and I can't get anywhere on a venue

@RainWave23 the unlock message says 3 venues. I read his tweets and he doesn't know what the other 2 are

My second account can´t unlock it ..... I don´t know why?

I already have an O2 Innovator Badge, unlocked in October 2011; I also have a new grayed-out icon....
Is this a new badge or a glitch?

Where do I have to check in to get this badge? Does anyone have a list of places or hints to get it?
