Has anyone actually managed to gain a level after unlock? I've checked into a bunch of new places and have yet to level up.

Checking into 9 or 10 new places got me from level 7 to 8.

Yea it's a new thing for 4sqr. That means it will have glitches like crazy for a while. just give them some time and they should get it working correctly.

@JR1 you are right i unlock 2 Bento Badge,but only 1 shown in the trophy and increase in level.

All the badges in the new expertise case can be unlock buy changing the venue of the location. However, the level up needs to be different locations. Gotta say, not so sure I like the idea bout levels though...

Some ppl are only badge hunting and they will not continue their check in if badge obtain, in this case ppl will continue their hunt and achieve greater level or expert. Quite briliant idea frm 4sq.

How To unlock New Expertise Badges ? to unlock these badges we only need to make check in at 3 different venues with the same category.

How Many Venues That We Need to Make Higher Level ? to make higher level we need to make check in into another 5 different venues with the same category, so every 5 venues you will unlock these badges again with higher level.

so it will goes something like this :
3 check ins – unlock the badge
5 check ins – unlock level 2x
10 check ins – unlock level 3x
15 check ins – unlock level 4x
20 check ins – unlock level 5x
25 check ins – unlock level 6x
30 check ins – unlock level 7x
35 check ins – unlock level 8x
40 check ins – unlock level 9x
45 check ins – unlock level 10x

I just don't understand the level up, whats the since in it, its the same badge and its not changing anything for getting to the level 10 except changing the wording on the badge.

@neiceek i agree with you,my pizzaiolo badge is on the 9 level but, when i continue another 5 new c/ and venues it's the same no level increase,i think i'm gonna stop.

If you check-in at 5 new venues from previous ones, your level will increase to 10...:)

Level 10 Bento! Go through the menu and order every single item you've never tried. There shouldn't be much after 45 different Japanese restaurants! Unless... have you been ordering teriyaki chicken this whole time?
