Does anyone know if previous checkins count for SxSW badges? I wasn't around for last year...

@Beerknurd I have a generic question about this badge as well as the others; What is going to be the best strategy for unlocking these badges and do you think we will be able to unlock all 12???

You should be able to unlock all 12. We were able to get all of them last year, with the exception of the AMEX badge because your AMEX card had to be swiped in a store.

It was a crazy week last year with the jumping. We even organized a couple of 10-Gallon Swarm nights. Good times.

I'm sure that all are available to unlock. But this is my first SxSW so I honestly don't know. One of the 4sqr old timers should know... :-)

I'm too excited. I just hope none of the other badges like the Circus Circus come out during SXSW. I want to jump to Austin and stay until I have all 12 badges.

BTW, is there a link to the discussion for getting the SXSW Virgin badge?

Last year we all had to jump to Indonesia in the middle of SXSW for the Blackberry Swarm badge.

Vegas would be a walk in the park compared to Indonesia, lol
