    How to unlock:
    1. Checkin 5 times to the same "Bowling Alley" venue or to 3 unique "Bowling Alley" venues.
    2. To level up checkin to 5 more unique "Bowling Alley" venues (levels 2-10)
    3. If checking into the same venue only 1 checkin a day will count for this badge (only for level 1 of the badge)
    4. Previous checkins count

    Based on my check-ins (and the fact that I don't have the badge yet) it seems like previous visits to a "Bowling Alley" don't count for this badge. Either that, or it needs to be 3 separate Bowling Alleys

    I believe it is 3 bowling alley's over a 3 day period. I think they need to be consecutive days.

    I got it using the same bowling alley but it does have to be over a 3 day period. I don't remember if they were consecutive or not. This is a core badge which means there isn't really a "previous checkin" factor. The checkins usually have to be at the very least within the same 60 days.

    Hi @JR1 many tanks for the update of the possible to upgrade the badge. I have question on upgrading the level, does it takes check in counted or we have to follow 3 consequtive separate days to level up for this 7-11 split badge for example? tanks

    Make sure that all of the venues are categorized as Bowling Alley's.

    Thanks @Beerknurd. Every venue was a Bowling Alley and I got points. I got stuck at level 3 a few months ago. Tried again last night since it was kinda quiet for badges right now, and still no luck.
    I'll level up my remaining expertise then come back to this one last I guess.

    Were they unique bowling alleys? It has to be ones you haven't checked into before.

    Yes, def unique. I made sure each one had no check-ins by me previously. I've even been in diff cities. Weird, huh?

    @iamc I have hit levels 6 and 7 today. About to get 8. How are you searching for the venues? There are alot of places with bowling alley in the name, but are not actually categorized as a bowling alley. I use a computer when doing these. I go to the foursquare site, and search for bowling. I just go down the list. Once I pull up a venue, I just change the web address from https://foursquare.com/v/ten-pin-heaven/4e5c33beaeb7a6ca53de6c5d to https://m.foursquare.com/v/ten-pin-heaven/4e5c33beaeb7a6ca53de6c5d

    Add a m. right before the foursquare.com

    I have never had a problem leveling badges

    EXACTLY that way. Haven't had problems with other expertise badges, just this one. It makes no sense!
