@vanz Please read the unlock instructions before posting the same thing in several diffrent discussions. They are the same for all of the MLS badges. If you follow them you will get the badges.

I just unlocked this badge but was not following the opposing team. I am now. If I delete this check-in and check-in again, will I be able to get both badges?

@NewJackCity apparently none of the games had an event window. 4sq was definitely asleep at the wheel...or they had some reason for not wanting the badges award. Who knows.
