level 2-5: 2 checkins per level after you unlock the badge
level 6-10: 5 checkins per level after you unlock level 5 of the badge

I doubt that any of these badges will unlock for a Champions League game. These are MLS badges.

When you filter the schedule by Competition Type and select "MLS Regular Season" you will see the MLS games that these badges should unlock for. http://www.mlssoccer.com/schedule

The same happend at LA Galaxy-Red Bull NY. Seems that nobody was able to unlock any MSL Club Badges last night.

Yes I noticed this, and it was highly annoying, as I traveled to Toronto and was at the game, and no event box. Really annoying because I won't get to Toronto again...

So let's see. The game started ten minutes ago and there is no event check-in option, which naturally means no badge. WTF foursquare?; are you all out to dinner at the same time. Sorry, but I am ticked. Waited for this all day, and now I will have to wait for a couple more hours to see if the event is activated. Would rather go to bed early instead. Geeeez.
