    Does anyone think this badge might be Reactivated at sxsw? IFC is a sponsor of the event and on their logo it has the slightly off words. Any one know how common it is to reactivated badges after there are retired?

    @WChrisbell this won't come back. Foursquare has a retired banner on it. What would happen is they would have a new badge specifically for SXSW and it would only be unlockable at there.

    Has anyone unlocked this recently? I've been to all 5 of IFC's SF recommended venues, some of them more than once, and nada. I suspect this one's no longer valid.

    (Sad to see how quickly IFC killed the "Poor Decisions" badge, too, which was one of the funniest.)

    There have been unlocks on this badge every day this week including today. The last unlock listed on twitter was about 3hrs ago.

    Good to know; thank you both for correcting my update. I'll have to post the SF-centric badge failure on www.getsatisfaction.com and see what they can do.

    I'll be out in NYC within a month, so will put 'em on my (growing) list of NY venues. :]

    If you guys have any IFC traction, could you let them know this badge does not unlock in SF? I have been to all 5 venues in SF three times over the past month, plus 3 IFC venues in Los Angeles. Zip.

    I posted a nice post on their FB page and they took it down the next day and did not pay the courtesy of letting me know if anyone was going to look into the situation. Thanks in advance if you resolve.

    I've been trying to unlock this in Chicago and it just isn't occurring for me. Somebody else even went as far as constructing a Google map with all of Chicago's venues, but the IFC ones haven't worked for me.

    to get the IFC badge,check in at a place where IFC had left tips before and the tips are not the recent ones,but the old ones,

    Here are the six Chicago venues where IFC has left a Tip. I've checked into all of them at least once. Any of you who don't have this badge, give them a shot and see if it unlocks for you.

    Did you do them all in one day? I've found that if there is a # of check-ins required, often it takes ONE more the next day to pop it, even if you have exceeded the requirements already.

    No. Two of them had check-ins before I began following IFC. But I only need three of the six. Hideout and Debonair are close to west North Ave. Hitting both of them in one night is eminently doable.

    Has anyone unlocked this outside of New York? I have three LA checkins, all of them were after following IFC, all of them were on separate days, and all of them are older tips (early summer 2010)

    This badge still appears in the MOG active list. I understand it is retired but not everybody reads the comments. Only stating to reduce any confusion.
