    To get this badge, I checked into La Banquise 3 days in a row between the hours listed above.

    Yes. They look the same, but one is an English version and the other is French...you have to follow two different brands and the venues are different.

    Did you delete the unlock checkin? The badge will be deleted if you did.
  • I think i did that,i have to recheckin 3 days in a row again to unlock back that badge if i'm not wrong

    Do the checkin's have to occur 3 days in a row? I have checked in at venue La Banquise more than three times between 6 and 9 and have not unlocked the badge. Any ideas?

    Yes the checkins have to be 3 days in a row between 6a-9am local time

    The check-ins do need to be between 6-9am but the day does not have to be a weekday. I unlocked the badge with an 8am check-in on a Saturday.

    Checkins could be anytime before noon EST. I unlocked it after 11am EST

    Can anyone confirm that this is only Montreal? Or if any other cites can unlock this?

    @Chaunce I only see 1 venue in their list that isn't in montreal so if u give me 3 days I can test it

    all my friends unlocked with only Montreal venues. might be because we live in Montreal and no jumping involved tho

    @Chaunce I just finished testing. I unlocked the badge at this venue:

    which doesn't list an address and this venue:

    which is in Outremont, Quebec. These are the only two venues that were not listed as "Montreal" venues on the list of recommended venues.

    I just followed the badge directions and did not receive the badge. Can someone confirm it is still active? I got points for my checkins and did them 3 consecutive days.

    If you read above in @Tymora comment, she unlocked it at 6:18am this morning, which means it's still active.

    My guess is your check-ins weren't during the specified time, or were rapid fire and didn't count, or because of travel time didn't count.

    @RainWave Ok, so when you say "local time" is it the time that it lists in your history? All of my checkins fall between the correct times. They are not rapid checkins because I got points for all of them. Currently it is 9:38 CST where I am. When I check in, it says the time in Montreal, QC is 10:38. Not sure why I can't unlock it. I have been in Montreal, QC for 3 days an have not left so I know travel time is not an issue. Any suggestions?

    hmmm....if they are not rapid fire and no travel issue, I'm not sure why you haven't unlocked it. You're using venues listed above? If so, I'd keep trying them for another day or so.

    And yes by local time that's what I mean.

    This may be the problem. The unlock instructions may need to be updated above. It's not 12 local time it is 9.

    This badge can be unlocked by first following Journal Metro this is a different profile page than the regular metro badge. To unlock this badge you will need to check-in 3 days in a row (confirmed) between 6 – 9 am EST at Metro locations (Montreal) from their foursquare page.

    Several of us have unlocked the badge after 9am. That has been on their page since the badge has been active. When I unlocked the badge it was after 9am local time. A quick search on twitter will show unlocks after 9am everyday. The unlock instructions we have posted are correct.

    Well I am going to start over again and try to unlock it before 9 to see if that works for me. If it was before 12 I would have unlocked it this morning. That is the only reason I can find as to why it didn't unlock.
