When did this badge go active? I checked in to a music venue last night and it didn't unlock. I am and was following MTV at the time.

@jimmyongah, you're always faster, however, I did try the piano bar and didn't get the badge.

Can be categorized under 'Boring Badges'... These easy to get badges are nearly as non-fun as retroactive badges. Now where's the fun in that?

@epigrafen If that's the case then jumping to get any badge could be classified as Boring. Most of us love getting badges no matter how easy or hard it is.

@epigrafen i can say that Boring badge is the badge that can be unlock at all local venue but yeah i still love to owned it :)

Does checking into a record store count or must it be a music venue only?

Will look more into this. The date of the 26th was the cut off for the contest to get a free trip to the VMA's. So far every year they have left the badge active until the end of the VMA's.

I just tested the badge and it would not unlock. However I will wait until 2morro before I move it to retired. Could just be a 4sqr glitch that they need to fix. I have tweeted MTV so we will wait and see what they have to say.

Tested it as well 5 mins ago in a music venue where I got Vh1 badge ages ago. It wouldn't unlock too.
