Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest.

• Check-in at ± 7 venues at East London
(for those who have previously checked-in)

• Check-in at ± 10 venues at East London
(for fresh/blank account)

• Previous check-in count towards the badge

City badges are generally 5 checkins. If it takes 10 checkins to get it then chances are good that 5 of those checkins don't count towards the badge.

That is correct (and at first I also thought it was a city badge). However (after some research) it apears that this is not a city badge but instead a 4sqr "Core" Badge aimed at London. It is the 3rd installment of 4sqr going London following the "Love My Loca"l and "High Tea" Badges. Not sure what the 4sqr fetish is with london lately but i would not be suprised if we continue to see these badges for a while.

I unlocked the badge on a nearly blank account (19 c/i). Only 7 of my checkins were venues of the list and not all of my checkins were made in East London, so the other 3 must have been:

The first two are very famous and likely. However, the last one only has 8 checkins...

Could it be that any venue in East London counts towards the badge, as long as it's in (let's say) Arts&Entertainment, Food, Nightlife or Shops&Services?
