Below you will find a Foursquare badge list, how to unlock them, and which ones are active and inactive. You can also sort the list by clicking on each of the column titles, click again to reverse the sort order. If you happen to find out how to unlock a something or if we have incorrect unlock info, leave us a comment.
Thanks to Tony Felice who had helped us get this list started. Also thanks to those who have helped with updates, aboutfoursquare.com, and many other dedicated users.
The list also got us to thinking about new badges that would be fun to unlock. So we made a list of hopefuls or suggested ones. If you have suggestions, visit our Foursquare Badge Suggestions List.
The Foursquare app is available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry. The iPhone one has a lot more useful features like a visual list of all of the badges you have unlocked.

I’ve checked in to 5 different venues with Apple computer category, but still haven’t got any Apple badge. Why is that?

the clue to unlock 10 to 10 badge is not make sense,
10 check-in between 7-10am on weekdays..
from my experience, from 7-10am i can only checked-in 3x at NBC Studio 1A

The 7 in one day may be the issue. It may need to be on separate days. Some of 4sq’s badges are sensitive to multi-check-ins on one day
The very first part I check into, I got both badges. So I guess previous checkins do count towards this.
yea … I got both at Green Lake in Seattle and it said that it was my 5th checkin there … but I have visited many parks in the past month before

I’m having trouble with this one too.. I visited a few in one week, but someone else here mentioned it may be 1x visit a day that counts so I’ve checked over my pages of check ins and visited a ton of parks but I’m not getting it either..

You actually need 5 venues from the suggested list provided by Harvard. See their fan page on Foursquare for locations

Is Campus Explorer really 10 different campuses? by the description it sounds like it’d be 10 checkins on one campus just different locations on the campus
According to the info provided by ASU (http://socialmedia.asu.edu/foursquare) you do need 10 different colleges. No one yet has mentioned being able to unlock it any other way.
