Linkin Park Launching New Music And Video Game

Linking Park LP RechargeThe brilliant band Linkin Park is teaming up with the dynamic DJ Steve Aoki in a new track called “A Light That Never Comes.” The new track is one of the many surprises in the new game LP Recharge that Linkin Park is set to release on Facebook come September 12th. LP teamed up with gaming giant Kuuluu Interactive to create an eco-themed game that is full of action-packed sequences, unlimited strategies, and a musical score by the music mega stars.

LP Recharge is set in the not-too-distant future and players join cooperatively to battle their captors and recharge the world with clean energy

In this future world, the earth’s natural resources have almost run out. The people who have control of the resources have the power and they’re using it to basically keep everyone else as their subordinate. – Mike Shinoda

Energy poverty and sustainability have always been issues that Linkin Park has stood behind. A cool feature of this game is that any upgrade purchased, such as a new outfit for your character, the money spent actually goes towards sustainable energy products through the Linkin Park charitable organization Music For Relief.

In addition to saving the world, LP Recharge allows players to unlock the sweet new sounding song from LP and Steve Aoki, “A Light That Never Comes.”
