A couple months back, Netflix released an app for the iPad. It allows users to watch videos from their Instant queue or from Categories over WIFI. If you haven’t tried it already, you really need to, its awesome.
Well, now Netflix has released an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that has similar abilities. You can watch videos over WIFI, or also 3G for iPhone users. Watching movies on 3G seemed to have some lag issues though. Users can also fast-forward and rewind the video. When users stop the video and they want to start watching it again, the video stream starts off where it stopped. Users can also update their queue by adding new movies while browsing titles.
This is a great thing for iPhone owners that also have Netflix accounts. You can watch videos anywhere. Having something like this would be great when your flight is delayed at the airport and you don’t have anything to entertain yourself. Or maybe just want to watch your favorite episode of a TV show while waiting to have your oil changed at the dealership.
“Apple has changed the game for mobile devices,” said Reed Hastings, Netflix co-founder and chief executive officer. “We’re excited that our members can now carry Netflix around in their pockets and instantly watch movies and TV shows streamed from Netflix right to their iPhone or iPod touch.”
The app is supported by iOS version 3.13 or higher.

I love how you can watch something on your TV and then continue it on your iDevice (and vice versa)… loaded up QUICK on WiFi for iPod Touch!
