What Not To Do With Your iPad
by Andy Morales on Tuesday, August 14th, 2012
Technology is constantly in motion, changing, adapting, and making life easier. The iPad has been a great tool to make life more convenient and simple. This ease of use can sometimes backfire. The new website, ipadisnotacamera.com, attempts to raise awareness of how silly one looks when using an iPad as their primary camera.
Do you ever laugh or scoff when you see people using their iPad as a camera? Although designed with a camera, its primary objective is not photography, but as a tablet. When people with expensive, high quality cameras hanging around their neck, choose to take a pic with their ipad instead, something is seriously wrong. They forgo quality, and instead choose quick access.
Sacrificing image quality and convenience (Really? You carry around your iPad in your purse?), all the while dealing with glare, the folks at ipadisnotacamera.com mainly want to point out that you just look plain silly.
The world needs more laughter though.
If you see any “offenders” out in the wild, make sure to submit them to @ipadisnotacam, or use the hashtag #ipadisnotacamera.
Here are some of our favorites.

We agree – its ridiculous! We set up a similar blog: ipadtography.tumblr.com – have a look!
